Bring Them Down also illustrates a significant amount of agricultural conflict. However, in contrast to the picturesque Galician countryside depicted in Sorogoyen’s Spanish-French co-production, Andrews’ film is set against the rugged hills of rural Galway, Ireland. The narrative centers on Michael (Christopher Abbott), who manages his family’s sheep farm while shouldering most of the responsibilities due to his father Ray’s (Colm Meaney) deteriorating health.
